cpanel-webapp-plugin (1.3.1-1+2.1.cpanel) stable; urgency=low

  * Branch: ZC-CPANEL-56534-ea-podman-min-1.0-27
  * Package: v1.3.1-1
  * CPANEL-56534: The Web App plugin now requires ea-podman 1.0-27 or newer,
  the release that contains the user session bootstrap fix the plugin
  relies on when it deploys an application.

cpanel-webapp-plugin (1.3.0-1) stable; urgency=low

  * Branch: IZC-CPANEL-54276
  * Package: v1.3.0-1
  * CPANEL-54276: Web application deploys and redeploys from a Git source now
  support SSH keys protected by a passphrase, instead of failing outright.
  Git clone failures are also reported with clearer, more specific reasons
  (missing SSH access, an untrusted host key, or required credentials)
  instead of one generic message.

cpanel-webapp-plugin (1.2.2-1) stable; urgency=low

  * Branch: ZC-CPANEL-56575-webapp-output-dir
  * Package: v1.2.2-1
  * CPANEL-56575: A Node.js application's build output directory is now
  detected from the build tool the project actually uses, or from the
  directory its build script names, instead of assuming a default. Where
  the source establishes neither, the system asks for the directory rather
  than guessing one.
  * CPANEL-56575: A deploy that builds successfully but produces no directory
  to serve now fails, naming the missing directory and any directory that
  does hold a built site. Previously the deploy reported success and the
  application answered every request with a 404.

cpanel-webapp-plugin (1.2.1-1) stable; urgency=low

  * Branch: IZC-CPANEL-56629
  * Package: v1.2.1-1
  * Add support for non-EA4 packages needing EA4 packages
  * A web application can now be served to a CageFS account on CloudLinux servers

cpanel-webapp-plugin (1.2.0-1) stable; urgency=low

  * Branch: CPANEL-56004
  * Package: v1.2.0-1
  * A web application can now be served at a domain the account already uses. Because the application replaces whatever that domain serves until the application is deleted, choosing such a domain asks for confirmation first; deleting the application then leaves the domain itself in place, serving its own document root again.
  * Choosing a domain beneath one of the server's temporary domains is now refused right away, with an explanation that the temporary domain itself can be used instead, rather than failing later during the deploy.

cpanel-webapp-plugin (1.1.0-1) stable; urgency=low

  * Branch: ZC-CPANEL-55344-app-env
  * Package: v1.1.0-1
  * CPANEL-55344: A web application's environment variables are now stored
  in the application's own .env file. They are no longer copied into the
  container's configuration or passed to the container as part of the
  command that starts it, where another user on the server could read
  them.
  * CPANEL-55344: You can now paste the contents of an entire .env file
  instead of adding one variable at a time. The paste is read with the
  same rules the container uses when it loads the file, so a file that
  works for the application works here.
  * CPANEL-55344: Environment variables are now checked before they are
  saved, and a variable that fails a check is reported instead of being
  accepted and ignored. Names must begin with a letter or an underscore
  and use only letters, digits, and underscores. Values must be a single
  line of printable text. There are limits on how many variables an
  application can have and on their total size. You cannot set PORT,
  because the application is assigned one.
  * CPANEL-55344: Environment variables cannot be set when the
  application's .env file is tracked in its Git repository, because
  saving to it would put the values in the repository and push them to
  everyone who has a copy. You can still clear the environment, which
  takes the values out of the file rather than adding any. To set them
  again, add .env to your repository's .gitignore file, commit that
  change, and stop tracking .env. Until then, deploying the application
  still succeeds, but it starts without its environment variables.

cpanel-webapp-plugin (1.0.3-0) stable; urgency=low

  * Branch: IZC-CPANEL-55158
  * Package: v1.0.3-0
  * Fixed: clearing a web application's Build or Startup command now works

 -- Heekyoung Park <heekyoung.park@webpros.com>  Mon, 24 Aug 2026 00:00:00 -0000

cpanel-webapp-plugin (1.0.2-1) stable; urgency=low

  * Branch: ZC-CPANEL-55779-webapp-release-and-meridian-pin
  * Package: v1.0.2-1
  * Deploying a web application no longer takes over an existing domain: a domain that already exists on the account is rejected as unavailable again, so a deploy cannot silently replace the site already served there. Choosing a domain that already serves a site will be supported once it asks for confirmation first.

cpanel-webapp-plugin (1.0.1-1) stable; urgency=low

  * Branch: HB-CPANEL-55252-r1
  * Package: v1.0.1-1
  * Deploys no longer fail outright on a one-off, transient npm registry network hiccup during the install stage; the install step now retries a few times before the deploy is reported as failed.
